To start off the third leadership area, you need to collect information about a local business in your community. THe main components you need to find out by either the store manager or the owner is: the year it was founded, its goals as a business, the people they are trying to sell to, competitors of the business, products that they sell and the price, and the number of employees that the business has.
Ask one of the employees that works there to see what he thinks about business success and how to succeed it. Create a Power point, Prezi, or anything on technology to present this information to your FBLA group during a meeting or during class sometime with the teachers permission.

With you and a couple other students in FBLA, create an informational and persuasive advertisement explaining why your town is a good place for a business. It can be whatever your town has to offer: not really that many local stores, friendly customers, other stores are too high, or just whatever your town has that is special about it.
You can create it online or make a poster board about it. You can upload a picture of your advertisement on any social media that your FBLA Adviser approves of.

Talk with your adviser to see with way to present your project would be the best for you. It can be in a video, Prezi, Powerpoint, or anything that you would like to present it with!

Create a product with some friends just like you would in the real world and getting ready to sell it.
You aren't actually going to sell it, but you need to find out a price for the product, what is special about it, and who you are going to sell it to. Make sure your price is a good deal for the item, so that you have a good profit coming out of it.

"It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership."
